WHY THE NAME?
The town of Longton (meaning – long village), in the county of Staffordshire, England, is one of the six towns of “The Potteries”, which formed the city of Stoke on Trent in 1910. This district has always been known for the pottery manufacturing industry. A few famous pottery works of the area included Paragon, Aynsley, Colclough, Gladstone, Roslyn and Royal Doulton. Meadows, the abundance of floral use on a large portion of the china produced.

There is no limit to what events and ideas you have….High Tea / Kitchen Tea / Bridal Shower / Baby Shower / Wedding / Birthday / Proposal / Engagement Party / or just because!
WE ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN HIRING ONE PARTICULAR ITEM…IS THERE A MINIMUM SPEND?
There is no minimum spend.
DOES YOUR WEBSITE SHOW EVERY ITEM?
Our collection is unique and varied…from gold cutlery through to milk jugs, tea pots, cake servers, tiered cake stands, crystal port glasses…the list goes on! This means not every item is displayed online so the best way to view the pieces is in person! This also gives you an opportunity to mix and match items or check the exact floral pattern you prefer.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
I am based in Perth and generally offer hire services in the greater Perth metro and South West region. If you have a request which is further than expected send us a message through our contact form with details and we can try to accomodate your request.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
A custom quote will be prepared with all your requirements listed and emailed to you for review. Once an agreement has been made, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. 21 days prior to your function, the balance owing is to be paid and final numbers are required. Deposits are refundable, less a $50 fee up to 7 days prior to the event. Cancellations given less than 7 days notice will forfeit deposits.
Below are the general hire guidelines but can definitely be negotiated if required.
Weekends – delivery/pickup on Fridays, to be returned on the Monday.
Midweek – delivery/pickup the day before the function, to be returned the day after the function.
Clients are welcome to pick up and drop off at our Kardinya studio but a delivery service is available.
Delivery/pickup service within 25km from Perth CBD is $50, 25km – 50km of Perth CBD is $100 and greater than 50km is open to negotiation.
A security bond of $200 or 50% of order value, whichever is greatest, is required for each order. This bond will be refunded into the client’s bank account in full, after hire items have been returned and checked for any damages. Clients are responsible for any damages or breakages whilst the items are in their possession. Breakages and loss are charged at replacement cost per item. Replacement cost will be deducted from the security bond, or invoiced separately. Payment of deposit and signed contract indicates your acceptance of these terms.
